DaydreamTV is the brain-child of two friends, Mika and Robbie, who desired an easy, low-pressure way to release short videos that captured the fleeting, creative inspirations that visited them at any given moment of the day. Rather than work within established online channels (i.e. YouTube, MySpace, etc.), where their creativity and freedom would be restricted, they decided it would be best (and more fun) to build their own channel. While there are no true guidelines, in keeping with the title, the content of DaydreamTV is to be comprised of relatively short episodes (around two minutes in length) inspired by their everyday encounters and thoughts. Mission Statement By creating a commercial free television station on the internet, it is our goal to provide content and programming outside of the mainstream media. In doing so, we are inviting viewers and creators alike to see their own lives, opinions, and programming as equal to or more interesting than the pre-existing channels of media already out there. |
